Il 10 febbraio è la Giornata Nazionale del Ricordo per le vittime delle Foibe e dell'esodo giuliano-dalmata, una giornata di commemorazione che è stata istituita solo nel 2004, ma che tutti gli italiani hanno il dovere di rispettare.
Cosa deve spingere noi italiani a ricordare le vittime che tra l'8 settembre 1943 e il 10 febbraio 1947 furono vittime di quei barbari episodi??
Il fatto che coloro che vennero perseguitati ed infoibati dai soldati del Maresciallo Tito erano uomini e donne civili di nazionalità italiana che vivevano nel territorio dell'Istria e della Dalmazia e la cui unica "colpa" fu quella di essere italiani (e non soldati italo-tedeschi che avevano occupato quel territorio nel corso della Seconda World War II, as it continues to support someone for many years now ).... it gave it to the historical events of the sinkholes in the nature of a genuine ethnic cleansing.
Another aspect that should alert the Italian public opinion is the fact that the victims deserve the same foibe historic dignity of the victims of the Holocaust, so that now and in future will not be a distinction between "victims of series A and victims of Class "or between" Holocaust Series A or Series B holocaust ".... because when innocent blood is spilled you can not make any distinction or discrimination against a historical event at the expense of another .
This is the meaning that should animate Day of Remembrance and should encourage historians and the Italian institutions to raise public awareness of the country, so that this day be remembered in future as the occurrence of all Italians.
